Allied Wire Brings in the New Year in a New Building

On August 29, 2007, Allied Wire and Cable participated in a groundbreaking ceremony that introduced the construction of a new building that was about to take place over the next several months.  Although the company spent a mere six years at the Phoenixville site, on January 11, 2008, Allied Wire employees spent their last day at the Phoenixville location packing up their belongings and getting ready to move once again.

“The new building is said to be 3 times the size of the current building,” said Holly one of Allied’s Sales Executives. This suggests a significant growth of the company.

The move miraculously took place during the span of a weekend.  On January 14, 2007, Allied employees were back into the swing of things.  Even though not everything was fully up and running, many people contributed to making the move a lot quicker and smoother than expected.

The new building is located in the rapidly growing area of Collegeville, PA.   It is also the home of many highly regarded corporations such as Wyeth, GlaxoSmithKline, and now Allied Wire and Cable, which is a well-established family-owned wire and cable manufacturing company. Collegeville is also the home of Ursinus College , a reputable liberal arts school.

The new Allied Wire building, located at 101 Kestrel drive, is 82,000 Square Feet, with 2 floors of offices, a gym.  With the additional warehouse space, many value-added machines have been added in order to service our customers quicker and more efficiently.

Charity Event A Success

Allied Wire would like to thank everyone for your overwhelming support for our long time receptionist Phyllis Rose.  You, our customers, went out of your way to make this happen by holding orders, adding to orders, and even donating your own hard-earned money.  Although the final figure is still unknown, it appears that together we raised nearly $15,000! We here at Allied, Phyllis, and her family are truly grateful for your kind words and generosity.
