Allied Breaks Ground on New Building
On August 29, 2007, Allied Wire and Cable participated in a ceremonial groundbreaking for our new facility in Collegeville, Pennsylvania . The event involved PA Congressman Jim Gerlach and Representative Bob Mensch, along with members of Allied's management team and sales team.
Allied Wire and Cable’s International Headquarters is currently located in Phoenixville, PA , but thanks to the new construction, AWC plans to relocate into the Collegeville facility by the end of 2007. The project will see construction of an 82,000-square-foot office, warehouse and production area.
“When you consider that we just moved into our current building less than six years ago, the move is truly remarkable,” said Tim Flynn, President of Allied Wire and Cable. “The incredible growth we have experienced at Allied Wire is only possible due to the hard work of our employees and the support of our customers.”
Below is a 2:27 minute video of the ground breaking ceremony where Tim Flynn, President of Allied Wire & Cable, gives a brief speech.
The state-of-the-art building will improve Allied’s current production, stocking and distributing capabilities, enabling better overall customer service.
In preparation for the laying of the foundation, the ground was detonated on Sept 5, 2007. Below is a 0:44 minute video of the ground detonation.
The new building will be located at 101 Kestrel Drive in the Iron Bridge Corporate Center.

It's nice to see you out there with a shovel instead of a pen. Congratulations to you and to your staff for steady growth.
AWC is a very unique and rare company these days since they actually care about their employees, vendors, and customers.
I enjoy doing business with AWC and best wishes to all.
Best Regards,
